Ceramic jewellery making workshop with Jessie Pittard

Discover the world of ceramic jewellery in this one off workshop with Jessie Pittard.

In this 2 hour workshop, Jessie will take you through all the tools and techniques you need to create 3-4 ceramic jewellery pieces. Choose from necklace/bracelet beads, earrings and a brooch. She will guide you through clay preparation, cutting and shaping techniques, decoration, painting and glazing.

So let your ideas flow (or hop onto Pinterest to get inspired) and start thinking about what you're going to create!

Jessie is an accomplished ceramicist in both hand building and wheel throwing. She has been working in ceramics for 10 years - check out her work. She also generously shares her knowledge and skills by teaching here at Clae Space and at Clay Talk at Montsalvat.

The timing is perfect for you to create something special for Christmas or to give!

To top it off, there will also be a delicious nibbles platter for you to snack on!

What you will get:

• Hands on guidance from Jessie Pittard to learn ceramic jewellery making techniques
• Small class size - max 10 people
• Clay, tools, underglazes and glazes to make 3-4 ceramic jewellery pieces
• Firing of your work - please allow 3-4 weeks for this to be completed
• All the finishings to complete your pieces (i.e. earring hooks, backing, cord, etc)
• Instruction card for finishing your pieces
