From a young age, Nik’s passion for creating has been a guiding force in her life. It wasn't until she delved into the world of visual arts in higher education that she discovered ceramics, and from the moment her hands touched clay, she knew she had found her calling.

Transitioning from general art studies to specialising in ceramics during the final two years of her bachelor's degree was a natural progression.

While her university focus was on sculptural forms, what truly captivated her was the endless possibilities of glazes and the ability to make functional art. She found herself drawn to vibrant, attention-grabbing hues that added a pop of personality to her functional ware. There's something incredibly fulfilling about crafting everyday homewares that inject joy and vitality into someone's daily routine.
